After visiting North Warren we drove into Aldeburgh and parked up at Slaughden. We started with a walk along the sea wall that fringes the river Alde - again lots of reed bed, boats, quality mud and the year's first Sedge Warbler. After returning to the beach for our picnic, we then walked into town...which is an eclectic mix of buildings built at the back of the shingle beach together with fishing boats and seafood huts...more of which in the next blog....
