Needle felted eider ducks....

Following my post about my male eider duck click here I decided to make a female. The feathers were challenging, in that they are so much more subtle in design than the male, but fun to do. The base was another matter - trying to keep to the theme of felt and to include some colour.  The felted stones worked well as did the creeping cinquefoil - it was tricky not to add too much, but hopefully I've struck a balance!
