Yesterday was an enjoyable day spent in the autumn sun on Chobham Common, for Tom. Some spectacular fungi, lichens and a lesser stag beetle (new to me) as well as good views of the usual bird species including Dartford warbler, green woodpecker, greater-spotted woodpecker, reed bunting and stonechat.
