Following my earlier collage work, I then went on to further remove the images from reality by doing a large painting based on the grid system I had used earlier in the 'Abstracting the Landscape' course. Click here to see what I mean.... I wasn't at all happy with the result, so added some colour by using up some of my collage papers ...then masking tape was removed and the painting chopped up - I quite like some of them and this is well out of my comfort zone!
