Low tide at Allonby

A glorious morning for a walk out at low tide to the Honeycomb worm reef (Sabellaria alveolata). These living reefs are made up of millions of worms that form tubes out of grains of sand and provide a home to many other species too.

Looking across to Criffel.

Barrel Jellyfish.

The underside of the Barrel Jellyfish - there have been many washed up recently.
