Being restricted by staying local it is hard to find new walks, but I really enjoyed a meander through old Skinburness last Sunday - somewhere I'd never been - and I loved being nosey looking into the gardens of the shoreline properties.
Silloth to Skinburness ...along the prom. |
Black-headed gull, ringed plover and turnstone. |
In one direction Criffel.. |
...and in the other Skiddaw. |
Oystercatcher, barnacle and pink footed geese. |
Redshank and knott. |
Seas and skies full of birds ...mainly wigeon and pink feet... |
