Silloth to Skinburness and Grune Point

Being restricted by staying local it is hard to find new walks, but I really enjoyed a meander through old Skinburness last Sunday - somewhere I'd never been - and I loved being nosey looking into the gardens of the shoreline properties.

Silloth to Skinburness ...along the prom.

Black-headed gull, ringed plover and turnstone.

In one direction Criffel..

...and in the other Skiddaw.

Oystercatcher, barnacle and pink footed geese.

Redshank and knott.

Seas and skies full of birds ...mainly wigeon and pink feet...
