A total experiment, but I'd like to try again! So today I learnt that it has to be cold enough for the snow not to melt when it hits the paper, obviously...and actually it was better when I was in my shadow - or at least blocking the light a little...just waiting for more flakes to fall now......but here are my first attempts at snowflake photography using a standard camera....
