What a lovely horseshoe that is ...we needed to do Stone Arthur as it was one of the last ten Wainwrights for the dog to do, but extended the walk (wanted to get into the snow!) by going up onto part of the Fairfield horseshoe. A cracking walk and even got to put on the micro spikes for the top or Great Rigg.

Descending off Heron Pike Tom found Scarlet Catterpillar Club ...apparently it parasitises moth caterpillars and erupts from their pupae in grasslands. |
