After a rather cool night, we woke to glorious sunshine! A classic first day walk - a slow meander round Ardnave Point. Lots of Dunlin in breeding plumage, many Whimbrel, Ringed Plover, singing Seals, Early Purple Orchids, Bog Bean and those Hebridean beaches. A meander through the sand dunes yielded Bronze Age pottery.
