Watchtree Nature Reserve

We still have slippery roads and have sadly missed out on the snow, but thankfully on the storm that flattened Cornwall. A dull and cold day, so a walk round Watchtree reserve, former air field and burial site for the victims of the foot and mouth outbreak of 2001. Not a lot to see, which wasn't suprising given the weather, not a lot to photograph and it was too cold to take gloves off anyway. Good to be out, a pleasant walk and a very good cup of coffee in the cafe afterwards!

Wind turbines ...

Only a little unfrozen water.

Some nice woodland...

A variety of garden birds...

Coal Tits and Great Tit ...the bird feeders were empty, but given the rate that our feeders are being emptied I'm not suprised!

..and a sign of spring....yeh!
