Cronkley Fell - June flora

The enclosures on the top of Cronkley are well worth a visit, if you hit the right time of year and like a decent walk out. Click here for the walk details  The spring gentians and bird's-eye primrose are well over, but the mountain avens was at its best. Nice to see both rock roses too.

A carpet of mountain avens.

Mountain avens.

The last gentian of the year; common rockrose and hoary rockrose.

Spring sandwort.
