As it was wet on Thursday morning we went round the Museum of Islay Life. An interesting little museum with all sorts of objects on display including: old kitchenware; illegal stills; a 12 000 year flint arrowhead; memories of wrecks; and WW1 and WW2 memorabilia. Of particular interest to us was the reconstructed and complete bronze age pots from Ardnave - confirming our finds as pieces of bronze age pots. Oh and a very creepy doll!
