Port Charlotte Museum of Islay Life

As it was wet on Thursday morning we went round the Museum of Islay Life. An interesting little museum with all sorts of objects on display including: old kitchenware; illegal stills; a 12 000 year flint arrowhead; memories of wrecks; and WW1 and WW2 memorabilia.  Of particular interest to us was the reconstructed and complete bronze age pots from Ardnave - confirming our finds as pieces of bronze age pots. Oh and a very creepy doll! For the Ardnave walk and finds Click here.
