Seat quarry: Lockdown 13

The thirteenth day of the same dog walk, but today we extended it to Seat quarry. It was a glorious day and the views were stunning. Lovely to see  the first wheatears of the year too. The theme for the walk was the quarry itself that has some good gigantoproductus fossils as well as the usual assemblage of crinoids etc that you find at Aughertree.

The photos on a theme - Seat quarry.

The lane - everything is so washed-out colour-wise at this time of year when it's dry.

Lime kilns.

A lichen-clad branch and wall.

Over-looking Wigton.

Keeper's cottage.
