Rosebay Willowherb

I love the structural nature of this - and the contrasts in texture and colour - even if it is a weed in the garden!

Spanish thistles?

With the dry weather and lack of wind the thistles are bursting with down. If I was in Spain I would have collected these and brought them back in the car - covering everything with down in the process of course!

Hedgerow splendour

A lovely walk from the house - the hedgerows are laden down this year.

Mini tapestry weaving and oils

A productive afternoon - finishing a few ends off and treating myself to a couple of hours off- an oil painting of the sabellaria reef at Mawbray.
