Cockerels and painting
A productive day - painting of Skiddaw from Tewitt tarn; finished off attaching bells to cockerels feet; mounted leaf cards and finished last hearts!

I love the structural nature of this - and the contrasts in texture and colour - even if it is a weed in the garden!
Spanish thistles?
With the dry weather and lack of wind the thistles are bursting with down. If I was in Spain I would have collected these and brought them back in the car - covering everything with down in the process of course!

Mini tapestry weaving and oils
