Bedruthan Steps.
St Just church, Penwith.
A quick pop into this lovely church with an early 15th Century wall painting. Makes you wonder who has prayed for what over the years.

Godrevy Point and seals.
The morning mist cleared in time for a lovely morning walk around Godrevy - lots of migrants passing through but the spoonbills had left the ponds on the LNR by the cafe. Superb views of seals and a couple of this year's pups too. I'm sure the collective noun for these seals should be a tideline or a flotsam of seals!

Harlyn to Trevone
A damp day so into Padstow in the morning and then walked from Harlyn to Trevone. Nice view of a little egret in the rockpools.

Holywell and the Kelseys.
Mines and minerals at Cligga Head.
A great morning exploring and 'scratting' on Cligga Head.....and a field sketch - a touch fresh but a real treat to be able to paint outside at this time of year.

Beavers on the river Otter.
We stopped over at Otterton on the way down to Cornwall. A lovely walk along the river with lots of evidence of beavers in the way of chewed stumps, fresh chippings and lots of 'slides' up and down to the river. Lovely views of kingfishers (5), grey wagtails, a little egret and dippers. Perhaps the high-light was the hornet's nest ...I could have spent all day there, but they weren't that happy with our presence so we decided that discretion was the better part of valour!

Sea-washed glass and crockery hearts.
Yesterday morning was spent sorting my finds from Parton - I particularly like the blue and white crockery hearts - there must be such a story behind each piece of crockery - all used by someone different and part of so many lives. It would be lovely to know the history of each piece!

'Vintage' hearts ...........
I can't believe it's only a few weeks before the first Christmas craft fare and being as I feel nothing like Christmas .....I'm assuming neither will the public. So here are some hearts - some of which do have a Christmassy fabric base, but the majority don't.

Well the exhibition has come down and it's back to my usual table - but with the seaglass hearts and several new card designs....

Buzzards on the camera trap.
Tom put out the camera trap with a road-kill pheasant - glad to see that Hades the buzzard is still around.
