Waxwings in Dalston.

A perfect morning - frosty and sunny so off to see the waxwings at Dalston. They were basking in the sunlight - fabulous!

Whooper swans at Whitrigg Bridge, Anthorn.

Lovely to see the swans as dusk began to fall with snow on Skiddaw in the distance.....

Sarah Adams - artist

Delighted to find this artist - and gutted I didn't see any of her work while we were in Cornwall last week. So I've ordered the book and can't wait to look at the work in greater detail.

Bassenthwaite from Binsey

A smaller acrylic painting ...slightly fuzzy as it was dark when I took the photo!

Two quick paintings - and the associated mini oils ...both in acrylic so they are ready for Greenhill craft fare next week! (I still prefer oils!)

Christmas cones ...

Time to get a wiggle on for the craft fares - large hanging cones with baubles, foliage and ribbon - easiest to construct in a mug!

Solway mini paintings ...

2" x 2" mini paintings....some of Criffel looking over the Solway and some of Skiddaw looking over the Solway mosses.
