Skiddaw over Derwentwater ....
Having sold the original picture I was asked to do another - so while the paints were out I did two ...just incase!
The painting is from just by the Chinese Bridge at the top end of Derwentwater looking back towards Keswick.

Mungrisdale ...Carrock Fell...Fellside ...Emily's Black Lion ..... home
This morning I dropped Steve and Rocky off at Mungrisdale - where I was doing the craft fair, and they walked home. Not a brilliant day for photographs and it was damp later on and rather misty, but here are a selection - the walk was 13.6 miles apparently, including a stop at Emily's Black Lion in Ireby for a cracking roast beef sandwich and pint!

Having made some mistletoe designs for a potential Christmas card - using a gelli plate, I can't find them! Hey ho...time to do some more...that way I'll remember where they are!

Crymlyn Burrows SSSI- Part 1
Tom has enjoyed a trip to Crymlyn Burrows on the outskirts of Swansea, on the day of the first 'proper' frost.
Clouds of linnet. |
Swansea Bay, the apparently floating Mumbles, and towards Port Talbot. |
Oystercatchers towards Port Talbot. |
The River Neath, and the coal micro-strandline. 6 samples were taken to look for foraminifera along the bay, estuary and marshland. |
The dunes and backing marsh. |
