click here. We were successful in our hunt ...this time they were oncolitic structures; oncoliths being rolled algal fragments.

| Just along the coast from Cemaes were these circular 'ponds' - 60 million years ago water eroded the limestone and then it was filled with sand 5 million years ago - which is now eroding out to reveal the 'pipe'. |
