Newborough Warren, Anglesey

A cracking round walk through the dune slacks and back along the salt marsh and then the top of the beach - warm and breezy. The flora was stunning!

Acres of dune slacks!

Sea lavender.

The last flowering marsh helleborine ...there were hundreds (literally)  that had gone over; dune helleborine - gone over; grass of parnassus and autumn gentian.
Sea holly in the dunes.

Round-leaved wintergreen in abundance.

Thyme, wild pansies, common centaury, grass of parnassus and melancholy thistle.

Welsh mountain ponies and a pink grasshopper - a genetic mutation.

The return walk along the top of the beach.
