Headend quarry, Sandale - Queen's Birthday Beacon.
On rather a 'fresh' night a few hardy souls gathered to see the lighting of the beacon. The views were stunning, the Lakeland fells providing an ideal backdrop. ....and the sunset wasn't bad either!
