In preparation for the coming year's workshops I need to crack on with preapring some sample pieces to advertise the events - so here is the first - for my drypoint sessions....a hare. Dry point doesn't use chemicals to etch an image, so is an ideal introduction to etching. Printed into damp paper using oil based inks the image can then be hand coloured after it has dried. Personally, I prefer the traditional black and white, non coloured, version, but have found that it is the coloured ones that sell....
