After walking along the Tavy on the side opposite Bere Ferrers we returned to the carpark and crossed Lopwell Dam and walked through the woods and along the estuary to Bere Ferrers. The meal in The Olde Plough, in Bere Ferrers, was excellent and then the highlight of the walk back, was getting across the dam with literally less than 5 minutes to spare, before it was submerged by the incoming tide - the tides are very high at the moment!
