Grune Point

Still being careful not to over-do it with |Rocky, as he continues to recover, a walk round Grune Point. Distinctly chilly, but beautiful. The frozen sea was quite special...crunching and 'slushing' as gentle waves massaged the ice ...

Skiddaw.

Frosty.

Interesting frost patterns in the mud.

Knot.

Red-breasted Mergansers in the channel

Happy to be out.

Six out of the 20 Grey Plovers in the group of Dunlin.

Crystals of saltwater heaped up on the tide line.

Some of the plates of seawater slopping in and out at the 'waters' edge.

And looking across the Solway to Scotland.
