Bowmore to Laggan Point

On their last day on Islay Tom and Steve walked from Bowmore to Laggan Point, in the morning. A pleasant walk as always despite a rain shower travelling down Loch Indaal.

Some of the bays in between the craggy outcrops of precambrian Bowmore sandstone.

Minke whale remains, as seen last year.

The only yellow horned poppy colony on the island, after our discovery two years ago.

A red throated diver flying towards Loch Indaal and a female hen harrier.
