Sanaig and Loch Corr, Islay

During the recent wet weather on Islay, Tom and Steve decided to look for Irish Lady's Tresses at Loch Corr near Sanaig. It turned out to be too early in the season, but despite the near torrential rain in a bog- they still managed to have a good day.

Lesser Butterfly orchid at Loch corr- with a crannog in the background- like most of the orchids on Islay it was seemingly stunted by the weather!
