Martindale old church

On Sunday I took a quick look round this gorgeous old church, which sadly, was locked. I really like the reflections in the window and wish I had taken more time to take a wider range of photos ...

The large yew tree at the back is 1,300 years old and is huge! Whether this relates in age to the age of  the church is unknown, but there is apparently a reference to the church being in existance in 1220. The present building dates from the 16th century and little has changed since  then.
