Ireby old church and snowdrop wood

Another lockdown walk; another lane or five. A decent step out from home to Ireby; then Ireby Old Church and onto the snowdrops on the Torpenhow road and back via NewPark into Ireby before returning over the hill. Cool in the breeze but some warth in the sun. Good to see some signs of spring; notably garlic, arum and bluebell leaves coming through; celandine, primroses and dog's nercury in flower and several hazel bushes in catkin.

The snow drops aren't quite out - at that lovely 'drop' stage.

Looking into Central Lakes - rather gloomy today.

Looking across to the Solway - also gloomy!

Pink feet.

Snowdrops by the river.

Catkins; dog's mercury and primroses.

The fells finally emerged!
