As another in our sequence of 'Moss Huts' workshops and linked to the quote 'Let Nature be your Teacher', we focussed this workshop on Wordsworth's grave (in the church at Grasmere) and then on the gardens at Dove Cottage. We wrote poetry and used gelli printing to create visual images, inspired by the morning that could incorporate text. We all got different things out of the day including being creative, enjoying the Grasmere gingerbread, standing in the steps of Wordsworth himself, and possibly most importantly - being amongst friends with time to chat and relax.
