Gelli printing northern hay meadows

Whilst at Bowberhead I was able to demonstrate and play around with gelli printing based on melancholy thistles and yellow rattle. I now need to spend some time working on how to combine the two species and corresponding colours without making 'muddy' colours and I don't really want to collage them - although that, it has to be said, would be the easy option that would work! 

My demonstration and 'Have a go' are in the barn - a lovely building with the cattle stalls entact.
