Norfolk: Morston Quay to Cley

A lovely warm end of summer's day, so we walked from Morston Quay along to Cley along the coastal footpath. After that we walked back towards Stiffkey and were delighted to see a group of 14 spoonbills. A glorious day - warm with a really nice light.

High tide and a view across to the lifebaot house on Blakeney.

Lots of Little Egrets.

A sky full of Pink-footed Geese.

A day for pottering - love the red sails.

Light through the reeds.

Cley windmill.

Dark-bellied Brent Geese.

Autumn colours on the marsh.

Spoonbills!

...and a very 'polleny' Ivy Mining Bee.
