First Flush of Fungi

A walk down Wedholme Flow on a very warm and sunny morning. It was nice ot see some fungi, as they have been sadly lacking until now. There haven't even been any field mushrooms this yeaar despite it being warm and wet. Anyway, an enjoyable walk with a good view of a decent sized Adder.

The heather is going over, as the moss takes on a rust-coloured hue.

Fly Agarics.

Earth Balls.

Probable Blusher fungi, but given their similarities to the poisonous Panther Cap, I didn't investigate.

Unknown species.

Common Darters.

Adder.

Slithering off....
