Leighton Moss

On a gorgeous sunny, autumnal day, we went down to Leighton Moss to see what was around. Obviously the ducks were low in numbers and in eclipse, but there was plenty to see, including good views of Bearded Reedlings flying across the reed beds.

Heron and Cormorants.

Plenty of Red Deer close to the hides.

Speckled Wood.

Common Darter.

Migrant Hawker.

Spot the Bearded Reedling! - I can't, but that's where they flew into.
