Dingle Marshes

After Minsmere we drove to Dunwich - where we parked in the beach carpark and walked round the perimeter of this reserve. More shingle, hard on the feet, then round the far side of the reedbeds.

Vegetated shingle.

Looking back to Dunwich.

Looking north.

Looking across the reed beds - where we had a nice view of two Grey Plover.

A distant and heavily cropped image of the Grey Plover.
More shingle.

Walberswick.

Zooming in to the windmill, used for drainage - a grade 11 listed building

Woodland on the fardside of the marsh.
