Spring in the Clyne Valley, Swansea.

With the rain coming down in Cumbria and Swansea, the glorious sunshine of the weekend seems far away. Tom obviously had a good walk in the woods of the Clyne Valley on Sunday .....to keep out of the sun! Seems miles away now!

Wood anemone, celandine and bluebells including a view towards Swansea through the bluebells.

Top left: large longhorn moth (Nematopogon swammerdamella) bottom left: speckled wood and right: comma.

Left: a glimpse of a great spotted woodpecker and right: mistle thrush surprisingly common!
