Swansea coast walk.

While we've had gorgeous weather in Cumbria, Tom has too in Swansea..............so a walk out along the coast was a welcome break from revision!

Bird's-foot trefoil: sea holly and sticky crane's-bill.
Left and middle: sandpit mining bees (Andrena barbilabris) in vast aggregations in the dunes forming large swarms of males  - literally thousands of them!
Right: Tawny mining bee (Andrena fulva) female.
Top left: oystercatchers towards Mumbles.
Bottom right: male wheater and the rest are some sand-pipery things looking nice in the sun!
