Coverack to Kennack Sands

Still restricted to walking from the static as no diesel available, we decided to walk towards Kennack Sands - with a 98% chance of rain and force 7 winds - what could possibly go wrong! A lengthy walk - 12 miles, which doesn't sound much but the weather and the muddy footpath made it hard work. Enjoyable in a sadistic kind of way! Not many photographs as it was too wet! The highlight was the fabulous burger with onion jam etc at the beach cafe at Kennack Sands - much needed and lucky that we arrived just 5 minutes before they shut. 




The new heathland growth in the burnt area was spectacular...
