Pack ice landing

As we progressed north through the pack ice, the visibility hadn't been great in the morning, so a new venture for the crew - landing us on the ice - aim the zodiac at the ice and rev the engine! Needless to say all the health and safety checks on the strength of the ice and polar bear presence had been done - and there were two marksmen on the bow of the ship and on the ice itself. After the landing we had a zodiac tour round some of the ice - I really did take too many photographs!
