Birding highlights on Deerness, Mainland, Orkney.

Day 2 and we were off to Deerness to walk around Mull Head. Superb view of a short-eared owl (annoyingly my better camera was in the boot of the car- lesson learned!) and on Mull Head itself some very obliging great skuas and one arctic skua.
