Scottish Primrose - Yesnaby, Orkney

Well following on from my last post the news is that the Scottish primrose was in flower and the day that we chose to visit Yesnaby was still enough to be able to photograph my felt ball in situ! The weather was remarkably kind to us on Orkney and now we're back the long task of editing and blogging begins. Yesnaby was a fantastic reserve and details of the full day out will follow in a while as I'll be blogging the holiday in chronological order. The primrose was quite abundant and easy to find - directly behind the car park.
