Leighton Moss

With a good forecast we decided to head to Leighton Moss. We arrived reasonably early - to a packed carpark - seemingly everyone else had the same idea. The reserve wasn't overly busy though. What a good day! Highlights had to be Great White Egrets; Ring Necked Duck; Marsh Harriers; Marsh Tits; Goldrcrests and of course lots of Pintail; Teal; Wigeon; Coot etc - oh and we heard a Water Rail. So these a just a few pictures before I get onto species specific blogs ...enjoy!

Over looking the reserve.
