A quick walk round Finglandrigg Nature Reserve. There was a bird - clearly a Pipit of some type - sat in the top of a tree. The bird call identification Ap, Merlin, said it was a Tree Pipit - the photograph confirms it. Although Merlin isn't 100% accurate, it certainly helped today, as without it we'd have said it could have been a Tree Pipit ...but...
