Crummock Water round.
It was a thoroughly grotty morning so at lunchtime, despite a poor forecast, we headed to Buttermere with the intent of walking round lake Buttermere. There were no car-parking spaces at all, but plenty available on the side of Crummock so plan B ...walk around Crummock. Good to see a few families out, but there were very few people out given it's the school holidays. Lovely atmospheric views!
