Columbine fused glass

It was great to get my columbine fused glass piece back from the kiln. All it needs is a wooden base to stand it in so it stands upright with the light coming through it. The piece was inspired by Cumbria Wildlife Trust's Latterbarrow reserve.

Before firing....

The result - first against a white background and with the light comming through it.

Inspired by the colours of Latterbarrow when the rockrose was out ...before and after firing - a bowl.

An experimental piece - using the 'pebbles' I had made at a previous session (see below).

Another experimental bowl.

Our companion for the morning - my friend's pup -
the weather was rather warm so sleep was the best option!
