Silloth dunes

Yesterday: A dull and potentially damp afternoon....so Steve went down the dock to see if there were any whitebait (there were a few), while I wandered round the dunes ...nothing special, but good to be out and about.

The dunes...

Viper's bugloss.

Rosebay willowherb with valerian and Criffel in the background.

viper's bugloss and rosebay willowherb.

Sea holly, sea spurge, heartsease, restharrow, evening primrose, bloody crane's-bill, pyramidal orchid and bindweed.

Six spot burnet moths.

Goat's beard.

Harebells.

And a reminder that summer is moving on....
