Ardnave Point

With the threat of rain in the afternoon, we decided to walk round Ardnave Point - this time in an anti-clockwise direction - not our normal way....   Good to see otter tracks, nice views of Great Northern Divers and some very pretty lichen-covered rocks (next blog) .

Bronze Age 'Features' being revealed....

Plenty of bone and shell fragments at the site....

Looking up Gruinart.

Rock patterns ...and below.

Otter tracks....and below.

More patterns...

Thrift.

More tracks - Mum and cub.

It's amazing how much more Bog Bean is out a week after our first walk round the Nave.

Sanaigmore in the distance.

Great Northern Diver.
