St Bees Puffins

A walk out to the rookeries at St Bees - lots of Guillemots, Razorbills, a few Kittiwakes, a Black Guillemot and three Puffins ..not easy to spot in a sea of Guillemots. Oh, and we also saw the Hooded Ceow that has been hanging around, in the field by the lighthouse.

Herring Gull and chicks.

The rookeries....and below...

Razorbill.
Flowers including Thrift,  Bloody Crane's-bill and Sheep's-bit.

Sheep's-bit.

A long way off and photographed through grass ...a Puffin.
