Fused glass pyramidal orchid arch.....

Following an earlier visit to Maryport, where there were lots of gorgeous pyramidal orchids click here  I made  series of gelli prints  click here. I am never sure what to do with gelli prints as somehow they never seem like finished pieces of artwork, although they are great fun to do. So with a session booked with Roxy at RD Glass they provided me with inspiration. The glass is going to me fused and slumped over an arch, so that the piece will stand upright on a windowsill. The orchids will hopefully turn out brighter than the unfused colour of the glass indicates.
