Hi - hope you enjoy my blog - it's mainly a day to day, as and when diary, but all cards and pictures etc that I put up are for sale. Search for me on Facebook at Julia Garner Arts.

Orton Moss
A damp morning that was dry under the canopy of the woodland. A few fungi beginning to appear and a really pleasant walk.
The woodland track.
There was a good mixture of tree species and some statuesque beech and sycamore.
A selection of fungi.
A glacial erratic.
Parts of the footpath appear to be old cart tracks.
You know where to find all the best wildlife. :) Now we are allowed back at our caravan, we did see some lovely wildlife inspired by places you blog about. Saw marsh cinqefoil, mountain pansy and ruby tiger moth at Eycott Hill. Saw Golden Plover and butterwort at cow green reservoir. There is a nice wildflower meadow between Askham and Whale, just over the bridge btw. I only stopped their briefly but saw vipers bugloss, corncockle , campions & poppies. If you are in the area ever, check it out. X
Aww I'm glad you find the blog useful! I'm envious that you have been up to Cow Green - I used to live in Upper Teesdale just below the turning up to Cow Green...and we'll take a look at the Askham meadow if we are passing.
