Glasson Moss Colours

There were some glorious colours on Glasson earlier in the week. We also were lucky enough to photograph a male siskin, feeding with a goldfinch in the tops of the alder trees. The bog myrtle catkins were spectacular!

Siskin and goldfinch.

...and on the way back - big Solway skies ...

...the tide was well out ...lots of curlew and other waders we couldn't identify at a distance ....although we had a cracking view of a merlin.
