St Bees Rookeries

A glorious day and great to see that some of the birds are back. The highlight was seeing five black guillemots - the most we have ever seen. The guillemots and kittiwakes were on their ledges as we arived, but on the way back were all out at sea feeding. We also saw a porpoise and a peregrine ....the rock pools at Fleswick Bay were lovely ...more of that in the next blog.
